Perceptual Anatomy

Body, Movement and Awareness

Perceptual Anatomy is a bodywork practice for those who wish to deepen their body awareness. The workshop focuses on the detailed use, both conscious and unconscious, of limbs, weight, skin, and deeper body structures.
Participants experience:

  • Motor awareness and proprioception
  • Perception of others and of the surrounding space
  • Renewal of primary gestures such as walking, lying down, breathing
  • Pay attention to touch, to the sense of gravity, to the quality and resonance of the movement

This original practice integrates meditative movement and dance, offering an innovative approach that unites body, mind, and emotions.

Integration between Osteopathy and Body Research

A bridge between science and perception

The laboratory combines research into the languages of the body and dance with the study of Osteopathic Medicine. The methods developed consider the body as a complex unity of interconnected systems—skeletal, muscular, fascial, vascular, and neurological—in which psychological and biological aspects influence each other and interact with the environment.

Participants use their bodies as a tool for understanding themselves, others, and space, in relation to neurological, biological, emotional, social, and tactile aspects. The workshop becomes a meditative, non-productive dance that engages with everyday life and the individual’s physical, psychological, and cognitive state.
