About me

Hi, I'm Julia

I help people regain balance and well-being through osteopathy, offering targeted treatments that consider body, mind and emotions, and supporting adults, the elderly, children, athletes and pregnant women in achieving their overall well-being.

My approach to osteopathy

I believe in a personalized, non-invasive approach aimed at overall well-being. For me, osteopathy means accompanying each person to regain psychophysical balance, mobility and well-being, considering body, mind and emotions as a unity.

My practice integrates osteopathic and dance skills, working on the relationship between the skeleton, postural muscles, and the nervous and metabolic systems, helping people develop greater awareness of their body and movement. I offer support to adults, seniors, athletes, pregnant women, and children, tailoring each treatment to individual needs and goals.

The value of multidisciplinarity

Collaborations and a multidisciplinary approach

I deeply believe in the value of a multidisciplinary approach, in which different skills are integrated to accompany each person towards global well-being.

I collaborate with a naturopath, combining our experiences and knowledge to offer complementary and personalized treatments.

This collaboration allows us to address complex issues more comprehensively, supporting balance, awareness, and physical health and promoting concrete results for those who rely on our path.

My career path

Giulia Mureddu

My path stems from 30 years of research on the body and movement. After graduating in 1995 from the University of Performing Arts in Amsterdam, I worked between research, multidisciplinary artistic production, training and socio-cultural projects, developing projects in Italy and abroad related to the body and dance.

Between 2007 and 2013 I directed my own Company, creating collaborations in Holland, the Czech Republic, Greece, the UK, the Middle East and the United States. In 2014 I returned to Italy for a lasting collaboration with choreographer Virgilio Sieni and his Centro Nazionale di Produzione della Danza.

Thirty years of work on the body and movement led me to the study of osteopathy. I took a five-year course at Malta ICOM Educational (MIE) and did five years of clinical internship at the CCFO clinic in Florence, Italy. In 2025, I earned a Bachelor of Science in Osteopathy with Honors, working with people of all ages and physical conditions.

Where to find me

The studio

My new practice is located in the historic center of Florence, on Via Guelfa, restoring a hub for health and wellness to District 1. Accessible and rooted in the city’s history, the space, formerly home to my great-grandfather’s gynecology and obstetric clinic, combines tradition and innovation, offering personalized treatments. Its central location is also easily accessible thanks to the new tram connection from Piazza San Marco.
